The Dutch and the Danish Digital Europe NCPs are organising matchmaking webinars for three Digital Europe calls and extend their invitation to the Flemish stakeholders.

The following webinars are planned:

The programme for each of the webinars are the following:

  • Welcome
  • Pitch from a consortium
  • Pitches from registered actors
  • Open floor if time permits
  • Conclusions

If you wish to participate in this event, please send an email to digital.europe@rvo.nl at least one day before the event. If you register for this event, you agree to share your contact information with other participants and interested parties.

If you want to pitch your idea or organization at the webinars on the 22nd of March or the 4th of April, please send a request to digital.europe@rvo.nl.

Depending on the number of submissions, the organisers may need to make a limited selection.

ROOT - Rolling Out OSNMA for the secure synchronization of Telecom networks

The ROOT project obtained funding under Horizon 2020 topic ‘EGNSS applications fostering societal resilience and protecting the environment’. The project, which ran from November 2020 to July 2022,  aimed to demonstrate the benefit of Galileo OSNMA signal to increase the robustness of critical telecom infrastructures.

The Flanders-based company Septentrio contributed substantially to completing this objective together with the other ROOT partners. The results of the project partially close a gap in the security of telecommunication networks dependent on satellite-derived time, with indirect benefits in curbing illegal attempts to disrupt network services.
