Exchange programme with US and Canada in the field of NGI
NGI, or Next Generation Internet, is an EC initiative to co-define the Next Generation Internet that should be user-centric by design: a user needs to control his/her data – e.g. privacy levels, rules for cooperation (codes of conduct, platform usage rules, …) and much more, you can read up on it in this article.
“NGI Enrichers” provides travel funding, living allowance, and support to get a visa for researchers and innovators willing to spend 3-6 months in the US or Canada to work and collaborate with US and Canadian hosts. It is opoen for researchers and innovators working in the field of the Next Generation Internet.
The NGI Enrichers first call for Paired Teams is now open to submission (deadline 31 January 2023):, so applicants can submit their projects in one of the NGI focus areas along with an organization that agrees to host them.

Atlas Integratie & Inburgering Antwerpen is an autonomous agency and a non-profit organisation responsible for implementing the Flemish integration policy on behalf of and for the City of Antwerp. Atlas offers several types of services for newcomers and Antwerp’s public and non-profit organisations.
In 2018, under the leadership of HafenCity University Hamburg, Atlas participated in the H2020 call 'Addressing the challenge of migrant integration through ICT-enabled solutions'. The proposal 'MICADO - Migrant Integration Cockpits and Dashboards' was approved by the European Commission and the project started in January 2019 and runs until June 2022.
