ERA4Health Partnership - Open NutriBrain call & Forthcoming call
The Horizon Europe funded ERA4Health partnership has recently launched a new call for projects focusing on 'Modulation of brain ageing through nutrition and healthy lifestyle' - NutriBrain. The aim of the call is to support transnational research projects that focus on the improvement of cognitive brain ageing through nutrition and other lifestyle factors.
Research Foundation Flanders (FWO) participates in this call. More information on available funding for researchers based in Flanders and on how to apply is availabe here. On 14 November the EU4Health Partnership will launch another call focusing on 'Nano and advanced technologies for disease prevention, diagnostic and therapy' - NANOTECMEC. Consult the pre-announcement here. An information webinar on this call will take place on 21 November. We will communicate further information on this call & the webinar once it is available.
Background: The Partnership “Fostering a European Research Area for Health” (ERA4Health) aims at establishing a flexible and effective coordination between funding organisations in the European Research Area (ERA) for Health and Well-being. This Partnership brings the opportunity to increase European transnational collaborative research funding by creating a funding body for joint programming in priority areas addressing European public health needs.

Founded in 1999, Luciad serves clients in Europe, Asia and the Americas. Though it recently was acquired by Hexagon Geospatial, they kept an agile SME mindset. NCP Flanders went to Leuven to interview Frederic Houbie, the Research Projects Manager at Luciad, about how he sees Horizon 2020. Luciad is a partner in the MARISA project, which is a collaborative RIA project submitted to an ICT call topic.
