The NCP4Missions network of Missions National Contact Points is organizing the on-line international brokerage event on 21-22 May 2024. Horizon Europe Missions Brokerage Event 2024 will gather relevant stakeholders intending to apply for funding in the new calls included in the updated EU Missions and Cross-cutting Activities work programme

The event focuses on following Horizon Europe Missions calls:

  • Adaptation to Climate Change
  • Cancer
  • Restore our Ocean and Waters by 2030
  • 100 Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities by 2030
  • A Soil Deal for Europe
  • Destination: New European Bauhaus
  • Cross-cutting activities  

The event will include the plenary session and on-line bilateral meetings with partners interested in the same topics.

ERC grants for UGent professor Lieven Eeckhout

Professor Lieven Eeckhout’s main research interests include computer architecture and the hardware/software interface with a specific emphasis on performance evaluation and modeling, and dynamic resource management.

Professor Eeckhout is the recipient of a European Research Council (ERC) Starting grant, Advanced grant and three Proof of Concept grants. Two of his former PhD students founded in 2013 CoScale, a spin-off in data center monitoring, which was acquired by New Relic.
