New call: HEMERA Call for Proposal

Programmes SPACE  

The HEMERA project is coordinated by the French space agency CNES and involves 13 partners from several European countries and Canada, including the Swedish National Space Agency (SNSA).

The HEMERA project will offer free of charge balloon flights to the user community. Six zero pressure balloon (ZPB) flight campaigns and several smaller sounding balloon flights are foreseen from mid-2019 to late 2021 from Esrange in Sweden, Timmins in Canada and Aire sur l'Adour in France. 

The second Call for Proposals dealing with balloon flights in 2021 is now open – more information about the Call can be found on the webpages of SNSA

SAPHIRe - Securing the Adoption of Personalised Medicin in Regions

The Department of Economy, Science and Innovation of the Flemish government coordinates the Horizon 2020 Coordination and Support Action SAPHIRe, which started on 1 December 2018. The aim of the project is to secure the adoption of personalised medicine in all European regions, including sparsely populated and remote regions and regions with different innovation capacities. 

The activities of SAPHIRe are complementary to the smart specialisation partnership on personalised medicine – S3P4PM, which is also coordinated by the Department of Economy, Science and Innovation.
