ProgrammesThe European Commission decided to cancel three quantum topics from the Horizon Europe Cluster 4 work programme 2026-2027. The topics in call HORIZON-CL4-2026-04 are currently suspended while an amendment to the work programme is being finalised, which is currently foreseen in the fourth quarter of 2026. The submission platform for these topics is no longer accessible, and participants preparing or submitting proposals have already been informed.
The intention is to relaunch these call topics under the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking, which will be mandated to include, among other things, also quantum technologies.

Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant coordinated the Glaukos project, which answered the call topic published in 2019 of Horizon 2020 Framework Programme ‘Develop bio-based fibres and/or functional molecules to improve the performance of textile products’ under the Framework of the Bio-based Industries Joint Undertaking (BBI JU). The consortium partners took up this challenge by valorising industrial side streams and setting up a circular approach to the textile industry.
