Programmes Digital Europe AI, data & cloud Cybersecurity Advanced Digital Skills Deployment: Best use of technologiesThe European Commission has published new calls under the Digital Europe programme on the Funding & Tenders Portal. These calls are expected to open on 4 July 2024:
- AI, data & cloud: Towards networked Local Digital Twins in the EU (deadline 21 November 2024)
- Cybersecurity: Development and Deployment of Advanced Key Technologies (deadline 21 January 2025)
- Cybersecurity: Preparedness Support and Mutual Assistance, Targeting Larger Industrial Operations and Installations (deadline 21 January 2025)
- Cybersecurity: Support for Implementation of EU Legislation on Cybersecurity and National Cybersecurity Strategies (deadline 21 January 2025)
- Cybersecurity: Strengthening the SOC Ecosystem (deadline 21 January 2025)
- Cybersecurity: Enlarging existing or Launching New Cross-Border SOC Platforms (deadline 21 January 2025)

- Deployment - Accelerating best use of technologies: European Digital Media Observatory (deadline 21 November 2024)

GLAUKOS - Circular Solution for the Textile Industry
Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant coordinated the Glaukos project, which answered the call topic published in 2019 of Horizon 2020 Framework Programme ‘Develop bio-based fibres and/or functional molecules to improve the performance of textile products’ under the Framework of the Bio-based Industries Joint Undertaking (BBI JU). The consortium partners took up this challenge by valorising industrial side streams and setting up a circular approach to the textile industry.
