ProgrammesThe EIT Food Accelerator Network (FAN) call supports high-potential agrifood and foodtech startups to validate their technologies, accelerate go-to-market readiness, and access European expertise, networks, and funding through the EIT Food Accelerator Network.
The 2026 call invites ambitious startups to participate across six specialised hubs, each focusing on a key theme that shapes the future of food systems, including smart supply chains and circular solutions.
In addition to technology validation and commercial acceleration over a duration of 2–3 months (September–December 2026), selected participants will receive expert mentorship, tailored coaching, and connections to industry leaders.
Eligible applicants must be registered companies established in an EU Member State or Horizon Europe-associated countries after 2016 with a technology prototype or pilot project. All conditions and application procedure can be found here.

The AgrifoodTEF, funded under the Digital Europe call for a Testing and Experimentation Facility for Agri-Food, is a network of world-class testing and experimentation facilities (TEFs) in the agri-food sector that supports testing state-of-the-art data, AI, and robotics solutions in real-world environments to accelerate their market introduction. ILVO, Flanders Research Institute for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, the Flemish node of the AgriFoodTEF supports the entire agri-food business, leveraging its infrastructures, experience and vast network established through participation in numerous Digital Europe and Horizon Europe initiatives.
