Call for expert evaluators for Digital Europe programme

The Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA) of the European Commission is looking for experts to increase its pool of experts for the evaluation of Digital Europe project proposals

HaDEA in particular is looking for experts in the following fields:

  • ICT systems development, operation, maintenance and interoperability, including software, hardware, cloud and digital infrastructure solutions;
  • Cybersecurity, including industry experience, curriculum design, specialised professional training delivery and academic expertise;
  • Digital Health, AI for Health and AI for Education, including professional training, personalised learning solutions and digital content development;
  • Semiconductors, Chips technologies and other key digital technologies, including Data Science, AI, IoT, robotics, blockchain, 5G/6G, edge/cloud computing and software engineering;
  • Education technology (EdTech), digital learning platforms, Learning Management Systems (LMS), Student Information Systems (SIS) and education data standards;
  • Academic training programmes in advanced digital skills, including interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary education approaches;
  • Digital skills development, upskilling/reskilling, startup and innovation ecosystems, business scaling and market adoption;
  • Higher education collaboration, professional skills development, inclusion, accessibility and industry-academia cooperation;
  • Evaluation of EU-funded projects, financial management, including financial support to third parties (FSTP) and Lump Sum funding schemes.

Being an expert evaluator comes with a number of advantages: gaining insights into the evaluation process and criteria of proposals for EU funding programmes, which will be useful when engaging in future projects proposals in European funding programmes; gaining insight into the state of the art in your field in a European context, and the possibility to engage in European services that support recognition of your expertise at EU level.

SeaFoodTomorrow - improving the safety and dietary properties of seafood

The Project SeafoodTomorrow is a project that is approved within the call BG-08-2017: Innovative sustainable solutions for improving the safety and dietary properties of seafood.

The three-year SeafoodTomorrow project brings together 34 partners. From Flanders, ILVO takes part in the project.They are responsible for setting up two databases which are the central point of the project to gather all the project data from analysis and assessement. ILVO is also leader of the workpackage dealing with authenticity, traceability and labelling. ILVO is also involved a the workpackage about novel food preparation. And in the managerial part, ILVO is head of the IPC- Intellectual Property Comité.
