Horizon Europe Cluster 3 calls open for submission

The 2022 calls under Horizon Europe Cluster 3: Civil Security for Society are now open for submission on the Funding & Tender Portal.

The in total 31 call topics are spread over 6 destinations

Deadline for submission for the topics under the 'Increased Cybersecurity' destination is 16 November 2022, for all other call topics the deadline is 23 November 2022.

Stakeholders planning to submit proposals under these calls are strongly encouraged to 

  • carefully read the introductions to both the work programme and to the specific destination as well as the respective call topic text,
  • ensure to keep up to date with related EU and international policies as detailed in the call topics as they evolve over time, and
  • pay particular attention to the specific requirements of the individual call topic.

YoPA – Youth-centered participatory action for a healthy lifestyle

The YoPA project, ‘a youth-centred preventive action approach towards co-created implementation of socially and physically activating environmental interventions’ obtained funding from Horizon Europe’s Health Cluster. The project addresses the multifaceted challenges of physical inactivity and health inequalities through a unique participatory approach. The project places teenagers between 12 and 18 years old in vulnerable situations at the forefront of the intervention process. The Institute of Tropical Medicine is a partner in the project and will conduct a Realist Evaluation to understand how youth co-creation contributes to improved adolescent health and well-being in four cities in Denmark, Netherlands, Nigeria and South Africa.  By integrating its results and sharing its approach in an open access Toolbox, ITM aims to contribute to fostering sustainable, youth-led solutions for healthier urban environments.
