ERCEA has published a Call for Expression of Interest in view of establishing a Reserve List of Seconded National Experts in 7 profiles:

1.            Communication Officer (Global outreach and events)

2.            Communication Officer (Promotion of ERC projects and their results)

3.            Ethics Officer

4.            Research Programme Expert (Systems and Communications Engineering)

5.            Research Programme Expert (Products and Processes Engineering)

6.            Research Programme Expert (Earth System Science)

7.            Auditor/Audit Liaison Officer

The deadline for applications for the ERCEA Call for Expression of Interest – Seconded National Experts (ERCEA/SNE/176/2019) has been extended to Friday, 21 June 2019.

Application procedure:

1. The interested candidates should contact their Permanent Representation:

Please address your candidacy to relex.belgoeurop@diplobel.fed.be and include vlaanderen@diplobel.fed.be in cc.

2. The Permanent Representation should then send all applications to the mailbox ERC-SELECTION@ec.europa.eu at the latest by Friday, 21 June 2019 at 12:00 (midday) Brussels time. Please note that applications must be forwarded by the Permanent Representations.  Applications sent directly to ERCEA will not be taken into account.

SNEs have to be employed by a national, regional or local public administration or an intergovernmental organisation.

EITHOS - European Identity Theft Observatory System

The EITHOS project, funded under Horizon Europe Cluster 3 call “Online identity theft is countered”, aims to develop a “European Identity Theft Observatory System” (EITHOS). The system will provide easy access to information and intelligence about previous and current identity theft related trends to empower EU citizens, Law Enforcements Agencies (LEAs), and policy makers to further contribute to the prevention, detection, and investigation of crimes related to online identity theft. The Cyber and Data Security Lab (CDSL), part of the Law, Science, Technology and Society (LSTS) Research Group at Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), is one of the 12 partners in the EITHOS consortium, contributing its vast expertise on legal aspects of data protection, cybersecurity and information security law and policy.
