Submitted proposals - Cancer Mission 2024 Call
The call for research & innovation actions supporting the implementation of the Mission on Cancer 'HORIZON-MISS-2024-CANCER-01 ' closed on 18 September 2024.
90 proposals have been submitted. The breakdown per topic is:
- HORIZON-MISS-2024-CANCER-01-01: 3 proposals
Use cases for the UNCAN.eu research data platform - HORIZON-MISS-2024-CANCER-01-02: 4 proposals
Support dialogue towards the development of national cancer data nodes - HORIZON-MISS-2024-CANCER-01-03: 33 proposals
Accessible and affordable tests to advance early detection of heritable cancers in European regions - HORIZON-MISS-2024-CANCER-01-04: 2 proposals
Support a pragmatic clinical trial programme by cancer charities - HORIZON-MISS-2024-CANCER-01-05: 42 proposals
Improving the understanding and management of late-effects in adolescents and young adults (AYA) with cancer - HORIZON-MISS-2024-CANCER-01-06: 6 proposals
An information portal for the European Cancer Patient Digital Centre
Evaluation results for all above calls are expected to be communicated in late December 2024.

MareGraph - Towards an Interoperable Marine Knowledge Graph
The MareGraph project, ‘Towards an Interoperable Marine Knowledge Graph’, obtained funding under the Digital Europe topic ‘OPEN-AI – Public Sector Open Data for AI and Open Data Platform’. The project will increase the semantic, technical, and legal interoperability of three selected high-valued datasets (HVDs) all maintained by the Flanders Marine Institute (VLIZ), which is one of the four partners of the project. This will allow the onboarding of essential marine datasets in the Common European Data Spaces. As such MareGraph will provide a structural component in the digital transition of the marine landscape. The numerous impacts of the project will benefit our seas globally in old and new ways to come.
