  1. CyberSecDome Open Call 1

The CyberSecDome Open Call aims to engage cross-sector and cross-border third parties to accelerate the integration of advanced security solutions into digital systems and infrastructures. This initiative seeks to enhance trust, security, and resilience across ICT products, services, and processes within the digital ecosystem.

Application deadline: February 10, 2025 

Max funding per project: 120.000€

Who can apply:  SMEs, Research institutions and academics, Public and private sector entities, Industry professionals and large enterprises

  1. CyberCertification Boost: Supporting the development of certification capacity in cybersecurity

The main objective of this call is to support through projects the development of testing and certification capacities in the field of cyber security and to strengthen the capabilities of Czech and European entities to perform certifications according to the EUCC IA and the EUCC certification scheme.

Application deadline: 31 March 2025, 19:00 (CET)

Max funding per project: 100.000€

Who can apply: Eligible organizations include SMEs in cyber security, ICT testing or certification, or training, CABs, accreditation bodies, and consortia. Applicants must be based in EU/EEA countries and meet Digital Europe’s financial, operational, and professional requirements.

  1. CYSSDE Penetration Test and Vulnerability Assessment

The CYSSDE project invites penetration testing organizations, including companies, consortia, and research institutions, to participate in its first open call to bolster the cybersecurity maturity of Essential Service Operators and SMEs across the EU. This initiative focuses on identifying and addressing known and emerging vulnerabilities through comprehensive penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.

Application deadline: 7 April 2025, 17:00 (CET)

Max funding per project: 200.000€

Who can Apply: Individual entities or consortia of a maximum of 2 entities being SMEs (including micro-enterprises and start-ups), mid-caps or large companies, research centres and public bodies that are registered in the Member States of the European Union.

Miricle - Mine Risk Clearance for Europe

The Miricle project, ‘Mine Risk Clearance for Europe’, obtained funding under the European Defence Industrial Development programme call ‘Underwater control contributing to resilience at sea’. The main objective of the project was to achieve a European and sovereign capacity in future mine warfare and create a path for the next generation ‘made in Europe’ countermeasure solutions. In order to realise this objective, Miricle addressed various stages: studies, design, prototyping and testing. These stages inter alia included the successful testing of an XL Unmanned Underwater Vehicle, a protototyped mine disposal system and multiple innovative systems to detect buried mines. Flanders Marine Institute (VLIZ), was one of the five Belgian partners in the consortium. Within the project, VLIZ was able to forward its research on the acoustic imaging of the seabed to spatially map and visualize buried structures and objects - in this case buried mines - in the highest possible detail. VLIZ also led the work on ‘Port and Offshore Testing’, building on the expertise of the institute in the field of marine operations and technology.
