Programmes Enhancing EU R&I Horizon EuropeAn expert group on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on gender equality in EU Research and Innovation will be established by the Directorate-General for Research and Innovation of the European Commission. A call for applications for members is currently open. The call is announced in the Horizon Europe work programme 2021-2022 Widening participation and strengthening the European Research Area (WIDERA p.154) and on the Register of European Commission Expert Groups and Other Similar Entities.
The task of the expert group is threefold:
The group will contain up to 15 members and a reserve list will be set up. Members will be appointed for one year, with the possibility of renewal. The deadline of the call for applications for members of the expert group is 2 December 2021 12:00 CET.

The MareGraph project, ‘Towards an Interoperable Marine Knowledge Graph’, obtained funding under the Digital Europe topic ‘OPEN-AI – Public Sector Open Data for AI and Open Data Platform’. The project will increase the semantic, technical, and legal interoperability of three selected high-valued datasets (HVDs) all maintained by the Flanders Marine Institute (VLIZ), which is one of the four partners of the project. This will allow the onboarding of essential marine datasets in the Common European Data Spaces. As such MareGraph will provide a structural component in the digital transition of the marine landscape. The numerous impacts of the project will benefit our seas globally in old and new ways to come.
