ProgrammesThe EU CAP Network is organising an in-person brokerage event in Brussels on 5 and 6 November 2026. It is designed to help stakeholders prepare multi-actor proposals for the 2027 Horizon Europe Cluster 6 and Mission Soil calls. A call for expressions of interest is open until 14 August 2026.
The thematic areas for possible collaboration include agrobiodiversity and sustainable agricultural practices, resilience and competitiveness in farming systems, climate-smart and clean farming, innovation through Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation Systems, and healthy soils. Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant coordinated the Glaukos project, which answered the call topic published in 2019 of Horizon 2020 Framework Programme ‘Develop bio-based fibres and/or functional molecules to improve the performance of textile products’ under the Framework of the Bio-based Industries Joint Undertaking (BBI JU). The consortium partners took up this challenge by valorising industrial side streams and setting up a circular approach to the textile industry.
