ProgrammesThe proof of concept co-financing instrument by EIT Food is designed to support innovators in the food sector, allowing them to transform their ideas into viable solutions.
Within this context, EIT Food targets proof-of-concepts and small-scale pilot projects between startups and prospective corporate clients with less than €100k in project costs. Proposed projects must exhibit a clear pathway towards commercial success.
Eligible applicants can receive financial support that will help in areas such as product development, market validation, and stakeholder engagement. The next and final cut-off dates are the 31st of October 2025 and the 30th of November 2025. All information can be found on the website.

Professor Lieven Eeckhout’s main research interests include computer architecture and the hardware/software interface with a specific emphasis on performance evaluation and modeling, and dynamic resource management.
Professor Eeckhout is the recipient of a European Research Council (ERC) Starting grant, Advanced grant and three Proof of Concept grants. Two of his former PhD students founded in 2013 CoScale, a spin-off in data center monitoring, which was acquired by New Relic.
