Then please note that the mandatory annex "ownership control declaration" has been added to the Portal Submission System. It is now possible to submit the annex next to Part B application.
We interpret this form that if you are company from Belgium (that is: headquartered in an OECD country, or more specific: established in an eligible country and controlled by entities in an eligible country), you only need to complete part 1 of the form, and part 2 (the guarantee part) can be skipped.
Update: The upload of the Ownership Control Declaration template in the submission system apparently didn’t work as planned, so now the EC is allowing proposers to submit the declarations some time after the proposal submission deadline upon the express request of the EC. Or as they communicated:
The ownership control declaration (annex to be uploaded) was missing in the Portal Submission System. Exceptionally, the Commission will allow the submission of this annex at a later stage - as needed and upon request. The ownership control declaration annex must be filled in by project participants as part of the application. All declarations must be assembled by the coordinator and uploaded in a single file in the Portal Submission System.
The EC also confirmed that the assessment of the ownership control declaration will not affect the outcome of the evaluation. The evaluation will focus on the Application form (Part A) and Technical description (Part B), which need to be completed and submitted in the Portal Submission System by the established deadline of 18/09/2024 17:00 Brussels time.
This article has been updated on 03.09 to add the info that the annex can also be submitted at a later stage. And appended on 17.09 with an interpretation on the form (essence paragraph)

If you’ve never heard of Limecraft, you’re clearly not working in the media sector. Their SaaS platform provides integrated workflows for media management, scripted and unscripted TV, and subtitling and localisation. It is used by leading broadcasting companies – such as BBC, VRT, NPO… – and production firms of which De Mensen or Hotel Hungaria might ring a bell (at least if you are Belgian).
NCP Flanders went to Ghent to interview Maarten Verwaest, CEO and cofounder, about how he sees Horizon 2020. Limecraft is a partner in the MeMAD project, which is a collaborative RIA project submitted to an ICT call topic.
