ProgrammesA key deliverable of the EU Startup and Scaleup Strategy, the European Innovation Act, has the aim to facilitate bringing innovative ideas to market across all sectors, to address challenges in commercialising research results, to strengthen collaboration between the industry and the academia, and to improve access of innovative companies to markets, finance, talent and infrastructures.
A call for evidence and a public consultation are open for contributions until 30 September 2025 on Commission's 'Have your Say' portal.
The survey gives stakeholders a chance to share their views, in particular on possible measures and how the initiative can help facilitate the establishment and growth of innovative companies in the European Union and enhance the diffusion of innovation across the EU Single Market.

Funded under Horizon Europe (HORIZON-HLTH-2024-CARE-14-01), running from 2025 to 2029, the THERESA PCP aims to launch a pre-commercial procurement process (PCP) based on the development of an environmentally sustainable on-site system to decontaminate hospital wastewater.
