The first One Water Alliance General Assembly programme is designed to help participants discuss upcoming funding calls, shape project ideas, identify partners and connect with organisations active across the water, marine and maritime sectors. Contributions from the European Commission are also foreseen in the programme.
The General Assembly is organised by the One Water Alliance, a community of more than 140 organisations working across the water, marine and maritime domains.
The programme includes a session on project collaboration around upcoming Horizon Europe opportunities, supported by project facilitators who aim to help participants develop ideas and explore potential consortia. On the second day, the event also looks at collaboration in education and skills, including related funding opportunities and networking activities.
Target public:
Researchers, universities, research centres, companies, SMEs, start-ups, organisations in the water, marine and maritime sectors building collaborations for Horizon Europe or Erasmus+ projects.
Participation is free, but places are limited and subject to confirmation by the organising committee. Each organisation may register up to two participants.

Professor Lieven Eeckhout’s main research interests include computer architecture and the hardware/software interface with a specific emphasis on performance evaluation and modeling, and dynamic resource management.
Professor Eeckhout is the recipient of a European Research Council (ERC) Starting grant, Advanced grant and three Proof of Concept grants. Two of his former PhD students founded in 2013 CoScale, a spin-off in data center monitoring, which was acquired by New Relic.
