ProgrammesThe Digital Europe project LDT4SSC (Local Digital Twins for Smart and Sustainable Communities) has launched an Open Call for Pilots to engage European local and regional authorities, as well as a wide range of stakeholders, including public administrations at local, regional, and national levels, businesses, technology developers, suppliers, research institutions, and academia, in building a networked ecosystem of Local Digital Twins (LDTs).
This third round of calls focuses on Interconnecting, Creating & Enhancing Local Digital Twins and is divided into three work strands:

Funded under Horizon Europe’s Innovative Health Initiative (HORIZON-JU-IHI-2022-02-01) and running from 2023 to 2028, the iCARE4CVD project aims to improve patient care across the board, starting from those at risk of developing cardiovascular disease to those with advanced heart failure. Thomas More University of Applied Sciences plays an important role in the project focusing data analysis and AI modeling as well as on the implementation of Patient-Reported Outcome Measures and Patient-Reported Experience Measures.
