ProgrammesDeveloped by REGILIENCE+ under the EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change, the Quick Guides for Climate Adaptation transform European experience and expertise into practical support for local and regional authorities. Each guide focuses on a major climate risk - from floods and water scarcity to heatwaves, storms, and snow and ice - and provides concrete actions that can be implemented on the ground.
Built on cooperation, peer learning, and experiences from across Europe, this guide helps territories learn from each other and avoid reinventing solutions. What works in one place can inspire action in another. They are designed to support faster and more informed decision-making.
The Quick Guides' objective is simple: help turn knowledge into preparedness, and preparedness into action, where it matters most.
This guide can now be downloaded from the Portal of the EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change.
We offer news and event updates, covering all domains and topics of Horizon Europe, Digital Europe & EDF (and occasionally, for ongoing projects, Horizon 2020).

Founded in 1999, Luciad serves clients in Europe, Asia and the Americas. Though it recently was acquired by Hexagon Geospatial, they kept an agile SME mindset. Thousands of end users work directly with Luciad’s geospatial applications, and major systems integrators (think Airbus Defense and Space, Lufthansa Systems, NATO, Thales…) incorporate its software in their own products.
NCP Flanders went to Leuven to interview Frederic Houbie, the Research Projects Manager at Luciad, about how he sees Horizon 2020. Luciad is a partner in the MARISA project, which is a collaborative RIA project submitted to an ICT call topic.
