ERA4Health has pre-announced IICS4all 2027, a Joint Transnational Call designed to support multinational investigator-initiated clinical studies in cardiovascular, autoimmune, metabolic and non-communicable respiratory diseases, with a focus on underrepresented populations. Publication of the call is scheduled for 27 October 2026.

The pre-announcement outlines support for pragmatic, phase III, randomised controlled, multinational interventional investigator-initiated clinical studies. Eligible studies are expected to focus on either comparative-effectiveness research or drug repurposing of off-patent medicines. Project duration may be up to 48 months.

For Belgium, the Belgian Health Care Knowledge Centre (KCE) is participating in the upcoming call and is expected to act as Belgian funding organisation in the context of the call. Further information on how to submit to KCE and additional requirements for Belgium is expected to become available after call publication.

Interested applicants can review the pre-announcement on the ERA4Health call page. More information will become available after the call publication scheduled for 27 October 2026.
