ProgrammesEIT Health, a Knowledge and Innovation Community of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), is looking for a consortium to deliver the "Beyond the Idea: From Concept to Venture" programme in 2027 and 2028. The programme helps master’s and doctoral students validate early-stage healthcare innovations and develop them into business ventures.
For two cohorts, the selected consortium is expected to provide masterclasses, mentoring and a final Pitch Day, among other activities. Participants will work on the commercial viability of their solution, a business model and a roadmap for setting up a company.
The call is aimed at a consortium comprising one university incubator and one entrepreneurship support provider. Together, they must demonstrate experience in incubation, mentoring, market validation, business development and venture building, as well as a sound understanding of both the academic context and the pathway towards a start-up.
Available funding amounts to a maximum of €36,000 and the application deadline is 2 November 2026. All information about the call is available here. An online Q&A session will take place on 15 October 2026. Register here.
