ProgrammesThe European Green Deal support office organises a webinar on 10 March 2026 that will explore how to scale citizen science initiatives for climate and environmental impact. Participants will discuss barriers and pathways to connect citizen science with policy processes, drawing on experiences from EU-funded projects.
It seeks to advance discussions on scaling citizen science from experimental stages to impactful deployment. It will feature insights from EU-funded projects like AURORA and PS Lifestyle, focusing on how these initiatives can overcome barriers and align with European and global policy frameworks.
Registration is open until 8 March 2026, with a connection link provided to participants on 9 March 2026. You can find the registration form here.
Background: The European Commission launched a special 1 billion EUR Green Deal Call in september 2020 to fund R&I projects tackling the climate crisis and supporting a sustainable, carbon-neutral Europe by 2050. Many of these calls were focused on reaching out to larger audiences (e.g. through citizen science or co-creation).
We offer news and event updates, covering all domains and topics of Horizon Europe, Digital Europe & EDF (and occasionally, for ongoing projects, Horizon 2020).

Professor Inez Germeys leads the Center for Contextual Psychiatry at KU Leuven, which is a large multi-disciplinary research group focusing on the interaction between the person and the environment in the development of psychopathology. She has received a European Research Council (ERC) Consolidator grant (INTERACT) and Proof of Concept grant (IMPACT). With these grants professor Germeys and her team researched a new mobile self-management therapy for patients with a psychotic disorder. The Acceptance and Commitment Therapy in Daily Life (ACT-DL) was further developed for the clinical environment. In line with that the Horizon 2020 IMMERSE project aims to thoroughly evaluate strategies, processes, and outcomes of implementing a digital mobile mental health solution.
