Hosted by the Flemish Blue Cluster as the EIT Water regional hub for Benelux and France, This half-day event looks at how innovation can help ports address water quality, circularity and climate resilience challenges.
The programme includes start-up pitches, networking with port, industry, research and investment organisations, and an awards ceremony. The working language is English, participation is free of charge, and attendance is on-site only.

Background: EIT Water is a new initiative of the European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT) and supports education, innovation and entrepreneurship in the field of water, marine and maritime. Blue Cluster acts as the regional hub for EIT Water in the Benelux and France, supporting the development of EIT Water in the region.

The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action (MSCA) European Innovative Training Network “PBNv2 - Next generation Pass-By Noise approaches for new powertrain vehicles” started in May 2017. Their research has the shared objective of investigating the possibilities to decrease pass-by noise of vehicles.
The project is a collaboration between 17 research institutions and companies in the European automotive R&D and provides a learning environment for 14 PhD fellows. The Belgian partner is the Noise and Vibration Research Group of KU Leuven, and this project is one of the many Horizon 2020 MSCA Innovative Training Networks that the KU Leuven research group participates in.
