ProgrammesThe Commission invites stakeholders to an info day about a challenge-driven GenAI4EU booster under Horizon Europe (HORIZON-CL4-2025-03-DIGITAL-EMERGING-09).
The GenAI4EU initiative seeks to support the development and deployment of generative AI solutions in strategic sectors including the three priority sectors for this call: telecom, aerospace, and pharmaceuticals.
The challenge-driven GenAI4EU booster will play an important role in the larger initiative. It foresees the creation of consortia comprised of organisations capable of organising large challenges and sector-specific companies or research & technology organisations. These consortia will launch and manage a 3-stage challenge to develop impactful use cases for generative AI in one of the three sectors chosen for this call: aerospace, pharmaceutical and telecommunications. The best GenAI developers will be invited to join the consortium and compete in the grand finale. After the challenge, the consortia will work to maximise the impact of the winning solutions. The call will open on 10 June and close on 2 October. Three projects are envisaged to receive € 15 million each.
This infoday is an opportunity for interested stakeholders (researchers, industrial companies, not excluding start-ups and SMEs) to learn more about the call, to pitch ideas and to network.
Participation is free of charge. Early registration will increase chances to receive a pitching slot. Pitches can be for project ideas or possible contributions to a project.
