The info day is targeted at potential applicants to the 2026 calls of the Horizon Europe Research Infrastructures work programme 2026-2027, for its five main destinations.

  • INFRADEV, which aims to develop, consolidate and optimise the European research infrastructures landscape, and maintain global leadership.
  • INFRAEOSC, with the objective to enable an operational, open and FAIR European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) ecosystem.
  • INFRASERV, with the objective of offering services supporting transnational access to state-of-the-art facilities for researchers, relevant for a large research domain or in support of societal challenge and EU priorities.
  • INFRATECH, aiming to contribute to developing the next generation of scientific instrumentation, tools, methods, and advanced digital solutions for Research Infrastructures.
  • INFRANET, aiming to deliver state-of-the-art network connectivity, above-the-net innovative services and operational excellence for the National Research and Education Networks.

Ask questions on 2026 INFRA calls: Ahead of the event, it is advised to watch the pre-recorded presentations that will be made available on the info day webpage and to send questions in advance via Sli.do, using #infodayRI2026, so that they can be prioritised and properly addressed during the live event.

The programme and all information related to this info day is available in the announcement on the research and innovation community platform of the European Commission.

MareGraph - Towards an Interoperable Marine Knowledge Graph

The MareGraph project, ‘Towards an Interoperable Marine Knowledge Graph’, obtained funding under the Digital Europe topic ‘OPEN-AI – Public Sector Open Data for AI and Open Data Platform’. The project will increase the semantic, technical, and legal interoperability of three selected high-valued datasets (HVDs) all maintained by the Flanders Marine Institute (VLIZ), which is one of the four partners of the project. This will allow the onboarding of essential marine datasets in the Common European Data Spaces. As such MareGraph will provide a structural component in the digital transition of the marine landscape. The numerous impacts of the project will benefit our seas globally in old and new ways to come.
