Programmes ICT NMBP SME InstrumentThe EC funded H2020 project “European Connected Factory Platform for Agile Manufacturing (EFPF)”, has allocated 2.5 Million Euros to provide Financial Support to third parties to undertake up to 20 sub-projects.
They are inviting manufacturing companies, digital solution providers, software developers and researchers to apply for sub-projects related to the development, prototyping, integration and validation of innovative solutions using the EFPF platform and federated services.
TYPES OF SUB-PROJECTS:
1. Development of new applications
Sub-projects that develop new tools or solutions, either using EFPF's own Software Development Kit (SDK) or by combining/extending the functionalities of existing EFPF solutions.
Single applicants only.
Funding amount ≤ 150.000 €.
Experiment duration: 9 or 12 months.
2. Testing/Validation of EFPF solutions
Single applicants and/or small consortia of a maximum of two partners (e.g. a manufacturing/supply chain company and a technology provider).
Funding amount ≤ 100.000 €.
Experiment duration: 6 or 9 months.
3. Extending the EFPF federation with new platforms and services
Single applicants only.
Funding amount ≤ 150.000 €.
Experiment duration: 9 or 12 months.

The YoPA project, ‘a youth-centred preventive action approach towards co-created implementation of socially and physically activating environmental interventions’ obtained funding from Horizon Europe’s Health Cluster. The project addresses the multifaceted challenges of physical inactivity and health inequalities through a unique participatory approach. The project places teenagers between 12 and 18 years old in vulnerable situations at the forefront of the intervention process. The Institute of Tropical Medicine is a partner in the project and will conduct a Realist Evaluation to understand how youth co-creation contributes to improved adolescent health and well-being in four cities in Denmark, Netherlands, Nigeria and South Africa. By integrating its results and sharing its approach in an open access Toolbox, ITM aims to contribute to fostering sustainable, youth-led solutions for healthier urban environments.
