ProgrammesThe Pharaon project aims to improve the dignity, independence, and wellbeing of older adults by providing enhanced smart and active living solutions. This Horizon 2020 funded project has created a set of customizable and interoperable platforms that provide advanced services, devices, robotics, IoT tools, artificial intelligence, data management, cloud computing, smart wearables, and analytics.
The first Pharaon Open Call is a cascade funding initiative offering third parties the opportunity to contribute to the development and sustainability of the project, work in a European environment and get financial support.

Funded under Horizon Europe’s Innovative Health Initiative (HORIZON-JU-IHI-2022-02-01) and running from 2023 to 2028, the iCARE4CVD project aims to improve patient care across the board, starting from those at risk of developing cardiovascular disease to those with advanced heart failure. Thomas More University of Applied Sciences plays an important role in the project focusing data analysis and AI modeling as well as on the implementation of Patient-Reported Outcome Measures and Patient-Reported Experience Measures.
