Pharaon Open Call for (micro) SMEs - Making smart and active living for Europe's ageing population a reality

The Pharaon project aims to improve the dignity, independence, and wellbeing of older adults by providing enhanced smart and active living solutions. This Horizon 2020 funded project has created a set of customizable and interoperable platforms that provide advanced services, devices, robotics, IoT tools, artificial intelligence, data management, cloud computing, smart wearables, and analytics. 

The first Pharaon Open Call is a cascade funding initiative offering third parties the opportunity to contribute to the development and sustainability of the project, work in a European environment and get financial support

Open call information:

  • Goal: This open call is an opportunity for other solution providers to contribute their technologies to the project, demonstrating that their solutions are compatible with the Pharaon open platform and supporting the ongoing development and refinement of the overall Pharaon ecosystem
  • Target: SMEs and Micro SMEs; Web entrepreneurs and individual sole-traders; Industrial organizations
  • Budget: 1.000.000 EUR (20 grants of up to EUR 50,000 each)
  • Deadline: 31.12.2021, 17:00 pm CET
  • Project duration: 6 months starting from March or April 2022

Moreover, it supports stakeholders in their journey to become more inclusive through 12 Communities of Practice. In this way, INSPIRE aims to develop both cutting-edge knowledge and innovative strategies for gender equality in the European Research Area. INSPIRE brings together 14 partners. The Belgian partner in this project is UHasselt.
