Interested in participating in any of the 2024 two-stage calls under Cluster 1 (Health), 4 (Digital, Industry & Space) or 6 (Agro-Food, Environment)? Be aware that these calls form part of the blind evaluation pilot and that the first-stage proposals of these calls will be evaluated blindly.

With this pilot the Commission wants to tackle concerns of any real or perceived effect of reputational bias that could subvert the awarding decision. Blind evaluation therefore requires that evaluators do not know the consortium structure and the applicants involved. As a consequence, applicants need to make the necessary adjustments when writing their proposals.

To bring clarity about what is expected of applicants, NCP Flanders organises a webinar open to stakeholders located in Flanders. Participation is free but registration is required. Once you have registered and have received confirmation of your attendance, log-in instructions for the session will be sent shortly before the event.

You can register here for the webinar. Deadline for registration is 8 June 2023.

Any questions can be sent to NCP Advisor Sarah Stroobants (sarah.stroobants@fwo.be).

GLAUKOS - Circular Solution for the Textile Industry

Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant coordinated the Glaukos project, which answered the call topic published in 2019 of Horizon 2020 Framework Programme ‘Develop bio-based fibres and/or functional molecules to improve the performance of textile products’ under the Framework of the Bio-based Industries Joint Undertaking (BBI JU). The consortium partners took up this challenge by valorising industrial side streams and setting up a circular approach to the textile industry.
