Next Mobility Exhibition 2026 will showcase solutions, technologies, and policies designed for sustainable mobility systems. It will gather important players, including companies, operators, and institutions, all committed to enhancing urban and suburban mobility. The event aims to be a key meeting point for smart and sustainable passenger mobility, focusing on public and commercial transport as well as enabling technologies. It seeks to bring together various stakeholders involved in the transformation of mobility systems.

The city of Milan, a leader in green mobility, is set to host this event, promoting innovative transportation solutions aligning with emerging energy and digital transitions. The EIT urban mobility is an active contributor to this event with two sessions:

  • Keynote speech: Investing in better cities: Costs and benefits of the urban mobility transition, Thursday 14 May
  • Panel session: Public and shared transport or Mobility data management, Friday 15 May

ERC grants awarded to professor Inez Germeys

Professor Inez Germeys leads the Center for Contextual Psychiatry at KU Leuven, which is a large multi-disciplinary research group focusing on the interaction between the person and the environment in the development of psychopathology. She has received a European Research Council (ERC) Consolidator grant (INTERACT) and Proof of Concept grant (IMPACT). With these grants professor Germeys and her team researched a new mobile self-management therapy for patients with a psychotic disorder. The Acceptance and Commitment Therapy in Daily Life (ACT-DL) was further developed for the clinical environment. In line with that the Horizon 2020 IMMERSE project aims to thoroughly evaluate strategies, processes, and outcomes of implementing a digital mobile mental health solution.
