This information session is organised by CARE4BIO, the Horizon Europe project network of Cluster 6 NCPs (Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment). This information session has been designed to familiarise prospective applicants with the suite of tools, resources, and capacity-building services developed within the CARE4BIO network. CARE4BIO serves as the official NCP network for Horizon Europe Cluster 6 and provides structured guidance to enhance the quality of applications, reinforce transnational cooperation, and support effective participation in Cluster 6 calls.

The session will offer a detailed overview of the CARE4BIO support ecosystem, including an introduction to the available knowledge resources, such as guidance documents (stakeholder map, annotated templates) and an insight into matchmaking and brokerage services that facilitate consortium building and cross-border collaboration.

The session will also provide clarity on how Cluster 6 NCPs can leverage CARE4BIO to enhance national advisory services and how applicants can use the available tools to strengthen proposal design, improve compliance with call requirements, and optimise project strategy.

A moderated Q&A segment will invite participants to raise operational questions and explore how CARE4BIO can support their specific needs within the Horizon Europe framework.

STARGATE - Sustainable Aviation

The Stargate project obtained funding under the special Green Deal call of Horizon 2020, more in particular under the topic of “green ports and airports”.  It received the maximum score of the evaluators and was selected out of more than 40 projects. Stargate’s purpose is to prove that sustainable aviation is possible and happening. It focuses on the further decarbonization of the aviation industry, the improvement of local environmental quality and the stimulation of the modal split. Together with a consortium of 21 European partners with a diverse and rich expertise (airports, community partners, knowledge institutions, consultants, local governments, …), Brussels Airports takes the lead as lighthouse airport to develop and implement innovative solutions. Results that prove successful can be deployed at the fellow airports (Toulouse, Budapest, Athens). Over the course of the coming five years, the consortium will exchange knowledge to investigate and realize more than 30 concrete projects.
