After the success of the previous editions, we are pleased to announce the 4th edition of the “Horizon Europe proposal workshop”, organised by Horizon Europe National Contact Points NCP Federal BE, NCP-FNRS, NCP Wallonie & NCP Flanders. On the agenda:

  • Participants will discuss  simultaneously in smaller groups proposals of most of the Horizon Europe clusters (pillar 2), that have been evaluated by the European Commission in the past, guided by an experienced evaluator and NCPs of this field
  • The discussions will be followed by a networking lunch

Our target audience is limited to researchers and staff members of federal or FWB institutions or organisations located in Flanders or Wallonia, willing to participate to the Horizon Europe programme as beneficiary. We will give priority to participants who did not attend the 2024 edition because we will work with the same material as in 2024.

Registration opens on 26 September on the  event's website and registrations will be processed on a first-come, first served basis. Stay tuned!

BEAT-AF - Ground-Breaking Electroporation-based intervention for Atrial Fibrillation treatment

The Horizon2020 project BEAT-AF brings together 9 European renowned clinical centres in France, Belgium, Czechia, Germany and Austria. Together, the consortium strives to revolutionize Atrial Fibrillation (AF) treatment through catheter ablation and contribute to decrease the huge burden of AF in Europe. The BEAT-AF project kicked off in 2021 and will run until 2026. The department of electrophysiology of the AZ Sint-Jan Hospital in Bruges is partner in the project and has so far contributed to the pre-clinical development, the first in man studies and first registries of the revolutionary AF treatment put forward by the consortium. The first pilot studies show that the treatment is safe, effective and efficient.
