ProgrammesThis online information day aims to inform (potential) applicants about the 2026 topics included in the Cluster 2 'Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Society' work programme 2026-2027.
Cluster 2: Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Society aims to meet EU goals and priorities on enhancing democratic governance and citizens participation, on the safeguarding and promotion of cultural heritage, and to respond to and shape multifaceted social, economic, technological and cultural transformations.
More information on this info day can be found here.
In order to dedicate more time to the Q&A part, presentations of the 2026 call topics will be uploaded on the website in the coming weeks and should be watched prior to the info day. You can send your questions in advance via Sli.do by using #CL2Infoday, so that the questions can be answered fully and in priority during the live event.
In addition to the info day, a brokerage event for Cluster 2 is planned on 1-2 June 2026 in Paris, France. This on-site only event will include an information session, pitch presentations of consortia in preparation, as well as the opportunity for bilateral meetings with partners interested in the same topics for the 2026 calls. More information will be available in soon. The Net4Society matchmaking community platform remains always open.

Autoship is, as the name suggests, an acronym for autonomous ship. Just like with self-driving cars, the possibilities of an unmanned boat seem endless. It can create more efficient freight transport, around the clock deliveries and these are just a few of the examples. The project has two societal challenges.
At first, De Vlaamse Waterweg was a bit hesitant as their experience with FP7 or Horizon 2020 projects was limited and they had not been very successful up until then. The fact that they were already doing basic research on the topic of autonomous boats, and the administrative help of NCP FLanders helped De Vlaamse waterweg to cross the line and get involved.
