EU Space Days 2025, organised by the European Commission under the Polish Presidency of the Council of the EU, will take place on 27–28 May in Gdańsk. This flagship event will focus on the latest developments in the EU Space Programme, including GalileoEGNOSCopernicusGOVSATCOM/IRIS² and Space Situational Awareness (SSA).

Held in parallel with InfoShare, the largest tech and startup conference in Central and Eastern Europe, the event provides a platform to connect the space sector with the broader innovation ecosystem.

Participants can expect discussions on EU space policy, strategic autonomy, sustainability, and opportunities for entrepreneurship and investment. Representatives from industry, public authorities, startups and the research community will be present.

Key topics include:

  • Strategic priorities of the EU Space Programme
  • Space innovation and commercialisation
  • Secure and resilient space-based services
  • Sustainability and SSA

The event invites attendees to discover the latest trends in space tech, explore space’s potential for defence, learn how to make space part of their business, and network with industry and policymakers.

AI4Culture - Empowering Cultural Heritage through Artificial Intelligence

The AI4Culture project, funded under Digital Europe call Data space for cultural heritage (deployment) aims to develop an online capacity building hub for AI technologies in the cultural heritage sector. This hub contributes to the creation of the European common cultural heritage data space, which provides support to the digital transformation of Europe’s cultural sector and fosters the creation and reuse of content in cultural and creative sectors. The Flemish company CrossLang is one of the 12 partners in the project and brings in its year-long expertise in the development of multilingual technology to the transcription and translation of scanned printed and handwritten documents.
