The European Commission is organising an online info session for the call for proposals 'DIGITAL-2026-AI-DATA-10-COMPLIANCE - Digital Solutions for Regulatory Compliance Through Data.

The European Commission aims to reduce administrative burdens to enhance the competitiveness of businesses in Europe. Automated, data-driven reporting is meant to support achieving this target. Call topic DIGITAL-2026-AI-DATA-10-COMPLIANCE supports projects that explore digital solutions for transmitting compliance information under EU legislation, including environmental regulations, and automating compliance processes in various pilot cases.

This webinar aims to provide insights into the call for proposals, including an overview of the call text and timeline. Potential applicants / coordinators will have the opportunity to present short pitches (5 minutes maximum) if seeking partners or proposal ideas.

For more information on the event, including the possibility to pitch during the pitching session, and to register to participate please visit the event website.

Please note that registration to pitch an idea closes on 2 June 2026 at 18.00.

EITHOS - European Identity Theft Observatory System

The EITHOS project, funded under Horizon Europe Cluster 3 call “Online identity theft is countered”, aims to develop a “European Identity Theft Observatory System” (EITHOS). The system will provide easy access to information and intelligence about previous and current identity theft related trends to empower EU citizens, Law Enforcements Agencies (LEAs), and policy makers to further contribute to the prevention, detection, and investigation of crimes related to online identity theft. The Cyber and Data Security Lab (CDSL), part of the Law, Science, Technology and Society (LSTS) Research Group at Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), is one of the 12 partners in the EITHOS consortium, contributing its vast expertise on legal aspects of data protection, cybersecurity and information security law and policy.
