This hybrid workshop is designed as a structured forum for collaboration and open discussion on issues linked to the future of European defence manufacturing and procurement. It brings together industry executives, National Defence Industry Associations and the Aerospace, Security and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD). Industry representatives and Member State delegates can take part either in person or online.
The European Defence Agency is organising this workshop to support discussion between defence industry stakeholders and public authorities on matters relevant to European defence manufacturing and procurement.
Registration is open until 26 June 2026 for industry representatives and Member State delegates.
Because meeting room capacity is limited, in-person participation is restricted to one representative per organisation, while additional participants can register for online attendance.
Registration is available via https://eda.europa.eu/news-and-events/events/2026/07/07/default-calendar/defence-industry-worshop

They have built research and public authority trust over the past 19 years and developed a unique, disruptive software suite - VECMAP® - that supports society to overcome one of its important health threats, the spreading of Pests of Public Health importance.
With the help of a Horizon 2020 SME Instrument Phase 2 project, they will be able to add Integrated Pest Management functionalities and go to the market. With the grant, that was an essential component of their second investment round, Avia-GIS aims at raising its revenue from the current 2 M€ to 14.2 M€ in 2024, and increase the headcount from 15 to 58.
