Organised by the Climate Chance association with partners including the Belgian Federal Government, the City of Brussels, the Brussels-Capital Region, the European Commission, and the European Committee of the Regions, the summit is set in the context of the planned revision of the EU climate adaptation strategy. Discussions are expected to feed into the European debate by drawing on proposals and lessons from the past.
The summit also seeks to highlight initiatives including cooperation between urban and rural areas, territorial adaptation solutions, and multi-stakeholder consultation mechanisms. A collective advocacy initiative led by major non-state actor networks involved in Climate Chance is expected to emerge from the event, with recommendations intended to inform European and international climate discussions.
Local authorities, policymakers, businesses, NGOs, researchers, civil society networks, as the summit is designed for stakeholders involved in climate adaptation policy, territorial resilience, and multi-level governance in Europe. You can find all information here.

The European Holocaust Research Infrastructure Implementation Phase (EHRI-IP) project was funded under Horizon Europe call topic HORIZON-INFRA-2023-DEV-01-02. The project duration was two years and came to an end in February 2026. The main objective of the EHRI-IP project was to undertake all necessary legal, financial and strategic work to have a permanent organisation or ERIC (European Research Infrastructure Consortium) fully operational by the end of the implementation phase. The project consortium consisted of 14 partners from 13 countries. Read more about the project and the contribution of Flemish partner Kazerne Dossin in this testimonial.
