This virtual info session on Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellowships (PF) 2024 call is organised by the National Contact Points (NCPs) for MSCA in Belgium (NCP Federal BE, NCP-FNRS, NCP Flanders) to inform potential applicants and host institutions from both the academic and non-academic sectors (including industry, business and SMEs, governments, civil society organisations, cultural institutions, hospitals, etc.).
The MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships 2024 call is expected to open on the 23rd of April with a deadline on 11 September 2024. Postdoctoral Fellowships support post-doctoral research and careers in all scientific fields. Supported researchers have a PhD and a maximum of 8 years of post-PhD research experience. This limit can be extended for several reasons (e.g. maternity leave, paternity leave, …) Host institutions need to be located in an EU Member State or Horizon Europe Associated Country. The grant amount depends on the number of person-months. The postdoctoral fellowships have a duration between 12 and 36 months (depending on the type).
During this information session the objectives of PFs, call modalities and hands-on information on the application submission and evaluation process will be provided, complemented by the perspectives from a MSCA PF fellow and an expert evaluator.
Participation to this webinar is free and open to any researcher in any career stage wishing to apply with a Belgian host institution or any staff member of a Belgian host institution (both from the academic and non-academic sectors). Registration is mandatory.

Professor Inez Germeys leads the Center for Contextual Psychiatry at KU Leuven, which is a large multi-disciplinary research group focusing on the interaction between the person and the environment in the development of psychopathology. She has received a European Research Council (ERC) Consolidator grant (INTERACT) and Proof of Concept grant (IMPACT). With these grants professor Germeys and her team researched a new mobile self-management therapy for patients with a psychotic disorder. The Acceptance and Commitment Therapy in Daily Life (ACT-DL) was further developed for the clinical environment. In line with that the Horizon 2020 IMMERSE project aims to thoroughly evaluate strategies, processes, and outcomes of implementing a digital mobile mental health solution.
