The official publication of the Horizon Europe Work Programme 2021-2022 for Cluster 6: Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment is expected in June and the new opening date is now 22 June 2021 for all calls and the deadline 6 October 2021, except for the call HORIZON-CL6-2021-BIODIV-02 with a deadline on 22 July.

Do you intend to prepare a proposal addressing a topic under the upcoming calls in Horizon Europe - Cluster 6?
The Horizon Europe online matchmaking event for Cluster 6 will take place on 9th July 2021, the day after the EC Cluster 6 Infoday (7th – 8th July): https://he-cluster6.b2match.io/ .
The brokerage event will provide prospective applicants an opportunity to meet and discuss ideas for joint projects and build consortia.

The main part of the event will include on-line bilateral meetings with partners interested in the same topics for 2021 calls. Following successful registration and submission of the high quality cooperation profile participants can pre-arrange bilateral meetings by using a B2Match tool. Potential coordinators can present their project ideas also by a pitch presentation.

The Horizon2020 project BEAT-AF brings together 9 European renowned clinical centres in France, Belgium, Czechia, Germany and Austria. Together, the consortium strives to revolutionize Atrial Fibrillation (AF) treatment through catheter ablation and contribute to decrease the huge burden of AF in Europe. The BEAT-AF project kicked off in 2021 and will run until 2026. The department of electrophysiology of the AZ Sint-Jan Hospital in Bruges is partner in the project and has so far contributed to the pre-clinical development, the first in man studies and first registries of the revolutionary AF treatment put forward by the consortium. The first pilot studies show that the treatment is safe, effective and efficient.
