The Flemish Research Data Network (FRDN) is taking an important first step toward deepening and broadening open science policy at the FRDN Network Day.
Actors that are not strongly involved in the FRDN network at the moment are encouraged to participate in the event and thus become involved in open science policy. This primarily involves academic staff and researchers, as well as actors involved in the economic and societal valorization of research (TTO offices, HR, legal, ICT...). Furthermore are invited professionals from other domains than science (industry, governance,...) that are also familiar with data governance and sharing.
During the event, the Coordination Hub will gather stakeholders - connected to Open Science - to define priorities regarding the challenges that lie ahead, which will also increasingly define the scientific playing field internationally.
The Coordination Hub will process the results of this network day and, based on these results, draw up a trajectory to create a vision-driven plan of approach for the next policy period (2024-2029).
All information on the programme, discussion topics and possibilty to register are available on the FRDN website
