Submitted proposals - A Human-Centred and Ethical Development of Digital and Industrial Technologies 2021 - deadline 21/10/2021
A total of 206 proposals has been submitted to call HORIZON-CL4-2021-HUMAN-01, which closed on 21 October 2021.
These proposals, of which the evaluation will be organized over the coming weeks and months, were submitted to the following topics:

- HORIZON-CL4-2021-HUMAN-01-02 - European coordination, awareness, standardisation & adoption of trustworthy European AI, Data and Robotics (AI, Data and Robotics Partnership) (CSA): 3 proposals (indicative budget 13 EUR million)
- HORIZON-CL4-2021-HUMAN-01-03 - European Network of AI Excellence Centres: Pillars of the European AI lighthouse (RIA): 2 proposals (indicative budget 9 EUR million)
- HORIZON-CL4-2021-HUMAN-01-04 - Trust & data sovereignty on the Internet (RIA): 7 proposals (indicative budget 12 EUR million)
- HORIZON-CL4-2021-HUMAN-01-05 - Trustworthy open search and discovery (RIA): 7 proposals (indicative budget 17 EUR million)
- HORIZON-CL4-2021-HUMAN-01-06 - Innovation for Media, including eXtended Reality (IA): 15 proposals (indicative budget 26 EUR million)
- HORIZON-CL4-2021-HUMAN-01-07 - Next Generation Internet community-building and outreach (CSA): 7 proposals (indicative budget 2 EUR million)
- HORIZON-CL4-2021-HUMAN-01-08 - NGI International Collaboration - Transatlantic fellowship programme (CSA): 2 proposals (indicative budget 2 EUR million)

- HORIZON-CL4-2021-HUMAN-01-19 - Testing innovative solutions on local communities’ demand (CSA): 6 proposals (indicative budget 5 EUR million)
- HORIZON-CL4-2021-HUMAN-01-20 - Piloting a new industry-academia knowledge exchange focussing on companies’ needs (CSA): 6 proposals (indicative budget 2 EUR million)

ERC grants awarded to professor Inez Germeys
Professor Inez Germeys leads the Center for Contextual Psychiatry at KU Leuven, which is a large multi-disciplinary research group focusing on the interaction between the person and the environment in the development of psychopathology. She has received a European Research Council (ERC) Consolidator grant (INTERACT) and Proof of Concept grant (IMPACT). With these grants professor Germeys and her team researched a new mobile self-management therapy for patients with a psychotic disorder. The Acceptance and Commitment Therapy in Daily Life (ACT-DL) was further developed for the clinical environment. In line with that the Horizon 2020 IMMERSE project aims to thoroughly evaluate strategies, processes, and outcomes of implementing a digital mobile mental health solution.
