Programmes EITToday the European Institute of innovation and technology (EIT) has officially announced that the consortium Allwaters has been awarded the contract for the new knowledge and innovation community, EIT Water. It consists of 50 partners from 24 countries, including industry partners, universities, research organisations, ports, non-governmental organisations, and small and medium-sized enterprises. There are 4 partners from Flanders: an De Nul NV, De Blauwe Cluster, Aquafin and North Sea Port Flanders. You can learn more about the Allwaters team in this factsheet.

Professor Lieven Eeckhout’s main research interests include computer architecture and the hardware/software interface with a specific emphasis on performance evaluation and modeling, and dynamic resource management.
Professor Eeckhout is the recipient of a European Research Council (ERC) Starting grant, Advanced grant and three Proof of Concept grants. Two of his former PhD students founded in 2013 CoScale, a spin-off in data center monitoring, which was acquired by New Relic.
