ProgrammesThe AI-on-Demand Platform (AIoD) is launching its first open call for mature AI, specifically targeting the private sector. With this initiative, the platform aims to support mature AI solutions that are ready to be integrated into the European AI ecosystem. Participating organisations can benefit from financial support, technical guidance and increased visibility within the AIoD community. The call is open from 9 April to 8 June 2026.
The call is primarily aimed at AI Providers: SMEs and research organisations that want to offer an existing, sufficiently mature AI solution through the platform. To be eligible, applicants must be established in an EU Member State, have a valid PIC and VAT number, and offer a market-ready AI solution at TRL 7 or above that can be integrated into the platform, for example via Docker containers. AI Adopters come into play mainly in the final phase of the programme, when solutions are tested in real-world business environments.
The programme runs from 1 September 2026 to 30 April 2027 and consists of three consecutive phases. Only organisations that successfully complete each phase can move on to the next.
Phase 1 (September 2026): selection of 50 AI Providers, each receiving € 5k. With this sum they can refine their business plan for AIoD alignment, provide initial platform feedback, and pitch their solution at a live industry event.
Phase 2 (October - December 2026): 20 selected organisations integrate their solution into the AIoD platform and receive € 35k. With this sum they can fully integrate their solution into the AIoD Platform and become a platform beta-tester.
Phase 3 (January - April 2027): 10 consortia, each consisting of an AI Provider and an AI Adopter, test the integrated solution in a business context. Funding amounts to € 20k for the AI Provider and € 15k for the AI Adopter. Together, they can deploy the AI solution in a real-world business use case and showcase the results.
To participate, proposals must be submitted through this submission platform. Before submitting, applicants need to create an AIoD Platform account and list their company profile in Business Navigator.
