The deadline for the following SwafS call topics has been extended to 23/04/2020:

  • SwafS-01-2018-2019-2020: Open schooling and collaboration on science education;
  • SwafS-08-2019-2020: Research innovation needs & skills training in PhD programmes;
  • SwafS-09-2018-2019-2020: Supporting research organisations to implement gender equality plans;
  • SwafS-14-2018-2019-2020: Supporting the development of territorial Responsible Research and Innovation;
  • SwafS-19-2018-2019-2020: Taking stock and re-examining the role of science communication;
  • SwafS-23-2020: Grounding RRI in society with a focus on citizen science;
  • SwafS-24-2020: Science education outside the classroom;
  • SwafS-25-2020: Gender-based violence including sexual harassment in research organisations and universities;
  • SwafS-26-2020: Innovators of the future: bridging the gender gap;
  • SwafS-27-2020: Hands-on citizen science and frugal innovation;
  • SwafS-28-2020: The ethics of organoïds;

PBNv2 - a MSCA ITN in the field of automotive R&D

The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action (MSCA) European Innovative Training Network “PBNv2 - Next generation Pass-By Noise approaches for new powertrain vehicles” started in May 2017. Their research has the shared objective of investigating the possibilities to decrease pass-by noise of vehicles.

The project is a collaboration between 17 research institutions and companies in the European automotive R&D and provides a learning environment for 14 PhD fellows. The Belgian partner is the Noise and Vibration Research Group of KU Leuven, and this project is one of the many Horizon 2020 MSCA Innovative Training Networks that the KU Leuven research group participates in.
