NEWS - COST Open Call 2026

The COST Open Call 2026 will be open for submission on 31 July 2026 (12:00 noon CEST) and close on 28 October 2026 (12:00 noon CET). Up to 80 COST Actions will be funded in this call.

An overview of the main novelties that are introduced in this call:

At the submission stage at least 40% of the proposers must be Young Researchers and Innovators.
In each Open Call, an individual may only participate either as Main or Secondary Proposer in one proposal.
The Technical Annex is no longer a separate document and is integrated into the submission process and to be completed directly via the e-COST platform. The system also won’t allow you to submit a proposal if you exceed page and text limits, helping to ensure the eligibility.

The COST Association will organise an online info session on the COST Open Call 2026 on 16 June 2026 from 10:00 to 12:00 CEST.

AI4Culture - Empowering Cultural Heritage through Artificial Intelligence

The AI4Culture project, funded under Digital Europe call Data space for cultural heritage (deployment) aims to develop an online capacity building hub for AI technologies in the cultural heritage sector.
