ADMA TranS4MErs, funded by the Innovation in SMEs programme (INNOSUP) has launched its second open call to help European SMEs achieve their digital transformation.

ADMA TranS4MErs offers a comprehensive and dynamic approach to digital transformation, enabling European companies across the EU to unlock their full potential.

ADMA TranS4MErs second Open Call runs from 3 April 2023, until 17 January 2024, and aims to assist small and medium enterprises in the European Union to implement innovative and advanced manufacturing solutions. 800 SMEs will be selected and receive funding.

The Transformation Program is organised in two phases, Design and Revamp:

  • During the Design phase, SMEs receive up to 8 hours of dedicated support from a certified advisor, the TranS4MErs. SMEs sign up on the ADMA TranS4MErsxChange Platform where they take the ADMA Scan, a self-assessment based on key transformation areas related to the themes of Industry 4.0, to assess their digital and advanced manufacturing maturity level. Then the collaborative work starts with the TranS4MEr to evaluate their business needs and digitalisation opportunities and design a tailored Transformation and Implementation Plan. The Plan is the basis for selection for the second phase of the Open Call.
  • During the Revamp phase, the SMEs receive up to €5 000 to spend on selected innovation and consultancy services and tools, available in the ADMA TranS4MErs Catalogue, to complete their transformation journey and achieve their digitalisation goals.

Open Call vouchers are awarded by country, on a first-come-first-served criterion, selection dates starting in June 2023. To learn more about the eligibility criteria, vouchers availability per country, and application process, visit the ADMA TranS4MErs website.

As the call has multiple cut-offsthere will be bi-weekly selection dates on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday from June 2023.

Luciad - Geospatial software for mission-critical operations

Founded in 1999, Luciad serves clients in Europe, Asia and the Americas. Though it recently was acquired by Hexagon Geospatial, they kept an agile SME mindset. Thousands of end users work directly with Luciad’s geospatial applications, and major systems integrators (think Airbus Defense and Space, Lufthansa Systems, NATO, Thales…) incorporate its software in their own products.

NCP Flanders went to Leuven to interview Frederic Houbie, the Research Projects Manager at Luciad, about how he sees Horizon 2020. Luciad is a partner in the MARISA project, which is a collaborative RIA project submitted to an ICT call topic
