ProgrammesThis online brokerage event is designed to bring together researchers and public and private sector participants interested in Horizon Europe Cluster 4 topics. It aims to support partner search for future consortia under the 2027 call deadlines and includes policy and call information, a Q&A, and short participant pitches.
The event focuses on Horizon Europe Cluster 4 – Digital, Industry and Space. It is designed to give participants an overview of the European policy agenda in this area and a guide to the opportunities available in Cluster 4, including destinations and calls presented by a Horizon Europe National Contact Point. The programme also includes time for questions and for participants to pitch project ideas or relevant expertise.
Participants can join either as attendees, to listen to project pitches, or as pitch presenters, to give a 3-minute presentation aligned with one of the cluster calls. The registration deadline and the deadline to submit pitch presentations are 23 September 2026. Pitch presentations should be returned to Cristina Vera Company.

The RUSTICA project obtained funding under Horizon 2020, more in particular under the topic ‘Closing nutrient cycles’. RUSTICA focuses on demonstration and implementation of circular bio-based nutrient valorisation chains, focusing on waste from the fruit and vegetable agro-food system. The project kicked off in 2021 and will run until 2024. It will use a strong multi-actor approach to co-create both socio-economic and technological knowledge in four case study regions in Europe and one in Colombia. The Flanders-based company DRANCO is one of the project partners and acts as technical project manager for the entire project. DRANCO participates in the project to develop its own technologies, to network and to help make the transition to a more circular based economy.
