ProgrammesDanish Presidency Event where you can join leaders from business, academia, and policymaking to shape Europe’s digital future, driving competitiveness and sovereignty. Explore key research areas, investment priorities, and policy strategies for the digital transition.
Day 1 – July 2, 2025
The first day will be more strategic and policy minded, with a programme that features keynotes from Danish and EU digital leaders. A panel will explore how Europe can balance tech independence with business competitiveness. Later sessions look at using public funding to draw private investment and getting AI and data innovations to market faster. The day ends with a talk on sustainable AI and a networking dinner.
Day 2 – July 3, 2025
After the opening, two separate tracks will run in parallel - one for Digital Europe (creating value with the programme, all you wan to know about submission and evaluation), and one for Horizon Europe (focus on SMEs, all you want to know about EDICS). Followed by two presentations on EC studies (key considerations for strategic digital tech in FP10 and the EU's critical digital capaciities deploymend beyond 2027). The day finishes with local site visits to showcase tech in action.
There will be a dedicated brokerage area at the event venue managed jointly by the local EEN, Ideal-ist and DEP4ALL, allowing participants to meet up and e.g. discuss project ideas for the current Horizon E urope Cluster 4 and/or Digital Europe calls. A separate registration is needed.
This conference aims both at policy makers and at organisations that are active in the field. If your organisation is quite active in the digital domain - Horizon Europe or Digital Europe - then this will be the place in 2025 to meet your counterparts from all over Europe, and to interact with the key players of the European ecosystem

Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant coordinated the Glaukos project, which answered the call topic published in 2019 of Horizon 2020 Framework Programme ‘Develop bio-based fibres and/or functional molecules to improve the performance of textile products’ under the Framework of the Bio-based Industries Joint Undertaking (BBI JU). The consortium partners took up this challenge by valorising industrial side streams and setting up a circular approach to the textile industry.
