The European Advanced Digital Skills Summit 2024 is a free one-day event for businesses, academia, and policymakers in the area of advanced digital skills.

As outlined in the Europe’s Digital Decade, the EU aims to train 20 million ICT professionals by 2030. This event is a deep dive into the European landscape of advanced digital skills, featuring roundtables, keynote speeches by European Commission official as well as business leaders and skills experts, workshops, and showcases of best practices.

It is an important step toward strategic collaborations aimed at redefining Europe’s digital skills landscape, and to find innovative solutions to keep and attract new talents to fill the digital skills gap in Europe.

The summit is organised by the EU project LEADS, funded under the Digital Europe Programme.
The “20×30: Europe’s ADS Summit” is free of charge but you need to register in advance.

GLAUKOS - Circular Solution for the Textile Industry

Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant coordinated the Glaukos project, which answered the call topic published in 2019 of Horizon 2020 Framework Programme ‘Develop bio-based fibres and/or functional molecules to improve the performance of textile products’ under the Framework of the Bio-based Industries Joint Undertaking (BBI JU). The consortium partners took up this challenge by valorising industrial side streams and setting up a circular approach to the textile industry.
